Questions
Do I need to work set hours?
No. There are no shifts. You choose when you're online, and you can go offline at any time.
How much will I earn?
You keep a fixed share of each delivery fee, shown on every offer before you accept. What you earn depends on how many deliveries you do and where.
What checks will OJA do?
They depend on your country and vehicle. Usually proof of identity; for motorbikes and cars, your licence and vehicle papers; and where the law requires it, a criminal-record check with your written consent. OJA does not check your credit score.
What about cash on delivery?
Some customers pay the courier in cash. The amount is shown on the offer before you accept and recorded when you complete the delivery. New couriers start with a low cash limit — you're only offered cash jobs that fit it — and the limit grows as you complete deliveries. Your current limit is shown in the courier app.
How do I send my documents?
In your application: upload photos or PDFs of each document, sign the courier agreement in the app, and give written authorization if a background check applies. Documents are stored privately and only OJA's vetting team can open them.
Do I need my own vehicle?
You can deliver on foot, by bicycle, motorbike, car or van. Some jobs, such as large or chilled orders, need a suitable vehicle or equipment.
